The 53rd edition of the famous tour of Chicago Blues Festivalhe will stop at Tremplin as part of the Beaumont City Cultural Season in Puy-de-Dôme as part of the Tremplin room program.
And this edition will highlight the South of the United States with a trip from Saint Louis (Missouri) to Jackson (Mississippi). We will be far from Chicago! We present the program in detail!
Dexter Allen, author, composer, guitarist, singer, producer, actor is a pillar of the Southern Blues, R&B, soul and funk scene. He was notably the lead guitarist for legend Bobby Rush and is a regular at the legendary Ground Zero in Clarksdale, where he recorded one of his six solo albums live.
Marquise Knox, 32 years old, author, composer, guitarist, pianist, harmonica player, singer is today an icon of the new generation that claims its cultural heritage. Marquise plays and sings uncompromising blues, as his ancestors did, addressing burning themes for African-American youth.
Matthew Lesch26 years old, he is a talented and explosive guitarist who brings a modern and contemporary style to the blues.
Born in Seattle, Lady A She is very active in this city where she coordinates several projects around the blues, both to transmit it and to train new talents. Lady A met Dexter Allen in Bobby Rush and have worked extensively since then on their respective albums.
Dexter Allen, Lady A, Marquise Knox, Matthew Lesch, These four friends have known each other for a long time, as they are used to sharing club and festival stages in Memphis, as well as the historic state of Mississippi. The revival of the Chicago Blues Festival tour continues with a 100% new set!
