Greg O’Hara appointed president of the World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC)


Greg O’Hara, who has been a member of the WTTC Executive Committee since 2019 and vice-president since 2021, will succeed Arnold Donald, the current president. Arnold Donald, former president and CEO of Carnival Corporation, has held this role since spring 2021.

Prior to creating Certares, one of the largest investment platforms dedicated exclusively to the travel and tourism industry, Mr. O’Hara served as Chief Investment Officer in the Specialty Investments Group at JPMorgan Chase. Additionally, he is president of American Express Global Business Travel and a member of the board of directors of TripAdvisor.

Throughout his career, Mr. O’Hara has also served on the boards of several high-profile companies, including Worldspan, Hertz Global Holdings, Liberty TripAdvisor Holdings, Singer Vehicle Design and the Innocence Project.
